ギネスに挑戦☆

昨日のごみ拾いの日記にモンゴル人のかたからコメントを頂きました。こういうことがあるからブログって面白いです。

面白いことといえば、先日ギネスに申請しました。あの記録のギネスです。飲み物のほうではありません。

UBは世界で一番寒い首都として有名で、厳冬期の平均気温は－20℃を下回ります。これからごみ拾いを継続していくにあたり、冬に外で活動することが厳しくならないか心配しています。

そこで、冬場でもモチベーション高く活動するために、寒さを楽しむシステムとして「世界で一番寒い中でのごみ拾い」をギネスに申請してみました。これが認められると寒いシリーズが多発しそうなので厳しいと思うのですが、社会的意義の面から認められないかとダメもとで挑戦しています。

以下、提出した申請所の簡略文です。

Ulaanbaatar city is currently facing an urgent need to improve public awareness on waste issue. Especially young generation is regarded as the most important sector for this matter, because it needs long time to solve this environmental problem and they can be change makers. With this background we will start to picking up litter on the streets every weekend as one of the waste issue campaigns for the cleaner city. In winter season, however, this activity can be much harder because of shivering cold climate. Ulaanbaatar city is well known as one of the coldest capitals in the world. In winter the temperature becomes minus 20-25 degrees Celsius on average, and people hesitate to go outside. So that it requires some system to enjoy coldness for our campaign. It is very appealing for students that if their activity set the Guinness World Record and they will pick up litter on the streets with joy even in the coldest winter. And also it will make a significant impact for the citizens of Mongolia. This is why we apply for Guinness World Record. We hope our activity regarded as one of the Guinness World Records.
